Jon Malamud is a Career Ownership Coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source where his mission is “to help people assess their career possibilities and dreams – specializing in their exploration of career ownership opportunities”.
Jon has a legal and business background and one of the core principles that he came to learn and appreciate is an appreciation of the incredible variety of people in the world. Jon’s work with so many people in the United States and in Asia over the years reinforces his understanding that different people can easily see the same thing in different and interesting ways.
With more than 40 years as a legal professional, Jon developed an appreciation of the tremendous value proposition of being focused on the needs and desires of clients. This appreciation is combined with a deep appreciation of the need for a lawyer to be focused on clients’ business strategies, leadership, and senior relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Jon was born in Syracuse, New York and recently returned to the US after spending over 30 years overseas as a senior lawyer for several financial services firms and spent the last 22 years with Prudential Financial in Japan.
Jon and his wife Tomi have 3 grown children and live in Herndon, Virginia. Jon enjoys golf, ice hockey and spending time with friends and family. Jon has also been a director, stage manager and actor over the years and remains a committed supporter of live theater.
